Who we are
[LEGAL ENTITY NAME], [ADDRESS]. Contact: [PRIVACY EMAIL].
What we collect
- Content you upload — images and videos, stored in Amazon S3, together with the file name, type and upload time.
- Comments and likes — the text you post, a timestamp, and either your account identifier (if signed in) or a random device identifier.
- Account data — if you sign in, your username and email address are handled by Amazon Cognito. We never see or store your password.
- A random device identifier — stored in your browser to count likes once per device and to show a live visitor count. It is not linked to your identity.
- Preferences — theme, safe mode, view and hidden posts, stored only in your own browser.
- Analytics — Google Analytics
(
G-5XEL5DMEKL) collects usage data including a truncated IP address, pages viewed and device type.
What we do not collect
We do not ask for or store payment details, government identifiers or precise location.
Why we process it
- To operate the Service — showing, storing and ordering content (necessary to provide what you asked for).
- To keep the Service safe — reviewing reports, preventing abuse (legitimate interests).
- To understand usage — aggregate analytics (legitimate interests, or consent where required by your local law).
Who else sees it
- Amazon Web Services — hosting, storage, database and authentication (region: US East).
- Google — analytics.
- Anyone on the internet, for content you post publicly. Uploads and comments are public by design.
Where it is stored
On AWS infrastructure in the United States. If you are in the UK, EU or another region with transfer restrictions, this involves an international transfer.
How long we keep it
Uploads, comments and likes are kept until removed by you or by us. Analytics data follows Google's retention settings. Browser preferences stay until you clear your browser data.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete or export your data, to object to processing, and to complain to a data protection authority. To exercise any of these, email [PRIVACY EMAIL].
Children
The Service is not intended for children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, contact us and we will delete it.
Cookies and local storage
We use cookies for sign-in (set by Amazon Cognito across
simplemoney.online) and for analytics. We use browser local
storage for your preferences and the random device identifier. You can
clear both from your browser settings, though sign-in will not work
without the authentication cookies.
Changes
We will update the date above when this policy changes.
